After a very long night and much anticipation, I am humbled and grateful for the outpouring of support from the amazing people of Senate District 22, who have put their unwavering faith in my ability to continue to lead this District for four more years!
Last night was tough for Democrats across our state, but just as they did in 2016, District 22 voters rejected the vicious, negative attacks and gave us the largest margin of victory among all hotly contested Democratic Senate and House races across SC!
Serving in the South Carolina Senate is an incredible honor, and I’m grateful to have an opportunity to continue the work we’ve started. Together, we can strengthen our communities and fight for what’s right to help move South Carolina and everyone in it, forward.
Thank you for entrusting me with this awesome responsibility. I don’t take it or the future of our district and community, lightly.
