Virtual Town Halls on Wednesday & Thursday: Voting & Education

We are excited to continue our COVID-19 Virtual Town Hall series this week with two new town halls discussing Voting and Education on Wednesday and Thursday, respectively. 

Be sure to tune in on the Mia for SC Facebook page at 5 p.m.to view the town halls via Facebook Live. 

We'll be discussing the pandemic from the voting and education perspectives, featuring a bipartisan group of state and local experts. 

On the topic of voting, we'll discuss proposals to expand absentee voting to ensure that all voters have safe, convenient access.

On the topic of education, we'll discuss issues facing grades K-12, like graduation and returning to classrooms in the fall, and then we'll discuss what student life will look like at colleges across the state when they return in the fall.
